Spring 2024Another 5 star project by Ideal Remodeling!After living through another cold winter in my house I knew it was time to replace my windows. For additional comfort I wanted to a gas fireplace in my living room with space for a larger TV.I searched online for ideas and cut and pasted parts of different pictures to show an idea of what I wanted the fireplace to look like.To bring it to life I knew Ideal Remodeling was the right team for the job.They gave me exactly what I was looking for in my new fireplace wall with built in cabinets. I could not be happier with their work and attention to detail.They did a very professional job in replacing all my windows. Additionally they installed new doors in my kitchen, railings on my front steps, decorative molding around my windows and various other updates.All projects look great especially the master bath where they removed the old tub, sink and toilet and installed new vanity, sink and toilet and a beautiful walk in tiled shower. Following Mike’s suggestion they installed a curbless shower, which looks fabulous and will allow me to “age in place”.Mike and his team are very personable and easy to work with. If there were issues (which were rare), they were addressed to my satisfaction. Each day before they left Rodney would tell me what the plans were for the next day, which was very helpful. During the last 2 weeks of work, Rodney would say every day “we won’t leave until you are happy”. They were true to their word!

Mike and his team did an amazing job replacing my large bay window and completely fixing and upgrading the side of my dining room wall in and outside of the house along with the outside siding due to weather damage. Ideal Remodeling renovated our kitchen and all three of the bathrooms in our house. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with every single detail. Ideal Remodeling came in clutch when a contractor - we thought we could trust - renovated our shower and ended up totally destroying it. I called around to several contractors in the area. Mike was quick to respond and give an estimate, and work on the shower commenced almost immediately. Everyone was detailed and thoughtful when communicating. My husband and I have used Ideal for both our master bathroom and kitchen renovations, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome for both rooms. Throughout the process, we always felt informed on what was happening and when, and any natural reno problems that came up were handled. For example, we needed to match our discontinued hard wood floor in the kitchen, which turned into a difficult process, but Rodney was fantastic at hunting down a match that is so close, you can't even tell that our old floor and new floor are patched together, which is also a testament to Mike's craftsmanship since it was NOT an easy task to complete. Rodney and Mike are always focused on quality while providing guidance on what they think will work and what won't, which is invaluable for a homeowner with no reno experience. I never felt uncomfortable asking "dumb" questions or sharing my ideas. Highly recommended!

Not only the work was flawless, they went over and above by cleaning gutters, mopped floors and cleaned sidewalk & street at the end of work day! I am beyond satisfied with my addition!

Ideal Remodeling framed out an entire bedroom and closet for me at my house. They also sheet rocked, trimmed it out, and installed all of the doors and they did an AMAZING job.Mike, Rodney, and the team were all super helpful and very responsive throughout the entire process. They started the job exactly when they said they would, showed up everyday exactly when they said they would, and finished the job exactly when they said they would.They even went the extra mile to lay down plastic in the areas where they walked and also covered items in plastic to protect from dust. Basement Remodel - Mike K's team (Rodney, Mike, and Justin) did an absolute amazing job with our basement. How they handle every detail is greatly appreciated. Experience couldn't of been better, will be using them again for sure.

April 30, 2019 I wish there was enough time tonight to give a detailed description of how very superior "Ideal Remodeling" is when compared to their competition. In essence:I researched for so long to find just the right people to completely remodel two full bathrooms, and once I experienced owner Mike's thorough and tailored-to-the client's-needs presentation, I was sold.The members of the remodeling team became like family during the almost 2 month process and they made the demolition and construction of two new bathrooms at opposite ends of the house a relatively seamless process.Project Manager Rodney is the very soul of the team. He is a consummate professional who somehow manages several projects at a time with his creative intelligence and ability to make things happen almost as soon as you ask him if it is possible to ....(.fill in the blank here.) He is hands on as much as possible. He truly IS the glue which holds it all together. Whatever he is getting paid, he deserves double.Re-modeler Justin is the heart of the team and he does whatever needs doing. My 2 grandchildren were enthralled by him and the way he loved his work. It showed. I'll never forget how Rodney and Justin let the two small boys help them put the finishing touches on my new shower bench.Master craftsman Yuri was so good at the lost art of tiling, that I wanted to watch him work as much as possible. He is awesome in placing individual tiles and he does it very carefully. It's all in the detail, and he has it down pat. Take a look at the "Mantua Project" video and you will see what I mean. Assistant Ilya was in the same realm. He also paid such attention to detail.Both Rodney and Yuri told me at different times how much they saw MY house as THEIR house each and every day, and therefore everything had to be perfect.Eugene the painter and Darryl the electrician both took such pride in their work, and it was evident by how much they wanted everything to be just right.Dan & Gavin from "Just Glass and Mirror" of Williamstown measured, installed, and created additional perfection when customizing the glass enclosure portion of my new shower. Gavin taught me about the advantage of having Diamon-Fusion built into the glass as the glass was being made. The thought of almost never having to clean the shower enclosure again was such a wonderful feature. And the glass looks SO GOOD after a shower...It's like magic!Kevin of Avalon Tile & Flooring Deptford was by far one of the most helpful people of all. He assisted me in selecting the best possible tile combinations for my shower, walls and flooring. I cannot say enough about himI used a plumbing supply company for vanity furniture and a few other things, but I ended up researching and then designing my own faucet & shower head look. The Moen technicians were fabulous in the support they provided.Now that this particular project has come to an end, I do not miss the noise, but I do miss the ones who made it all happen.Project Manager Rodney is the absolute BEST in the business, and his team is second to none. I highly recommend them for all your remodeling needs.

I wish I had known about Ideal six years ago when I had an addition built. I just used Ideal to do some bathroom repairs. I would recommend them anytime. All the workers are professional. The work I had done was priced very reasonably. I will be using them again.

You hope you hire the right company to do the job but you never know until it’s all done. This was the right company for us. Michael came out the very next day for the consult to finish our basement. We came up with a plan and they executed it with great Craftsmanship, efficiency, and cleanliness. They were always respectful of our home,our family, and our time. I was anticipating some trouble as common with most projects,but this was went smoothly from start to finish. It was largely because of their trade skills, but ultimately secondary to their communication skills. We are thankful we found the right company for the job and look forward to future projects.

After looking at several contractors for our first floor remodel, we chose ideal remodeling based on Mike's professionalism and ideas during our consultation. He was the only contractor we interviewed that pointed out up front in the consultation that we'd need a new electrical panel (extra cost). I appreciated his up front honesty about the project and what our expectations were vs reality and that ultimately swayed our decision to choosing Ideal. I'm SO GLAD we did!! Rodney was a dream to work with, he kept me in the loop on how everything was going pretty much every day (we weren't living at the house at the time) and always made sure I understood what was happening. He also gave me a lot of recommendations for projects around the house that we were doing ourselves that, for two new home renovation DIYers, was super helpful. He made sure he did everything he could to get these two salvage lights we bought work in our dining room, and figured out a workaround for our TV cables so I could hang our TV on the wall with no cables showing. The showstopper was the kitchen. They did a complete remodel, and everything went so smooth they even finished before the estimated completion date. The kitchen is so beautiful I ALMOST don't even want to use it. I would 1000% recommend them for any project and I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Usually you hear horror stories about contractors but Ideal made it so easy I'd do another project in a heartbeat. I can't recommend them enough!

Mike has done a few smaller renovation projects for us. He is always honest & extremely helpful with recommendations that provide good value for the money. Rodney & his crew just completed another job for us & we are completely satisfied with the care they took as well as the professional work. After a bad experience with a previous contractor, I was hestiant in hiring another contractor but as soon as I met Mike those fears went away. I knew he was just the right guy to get the job done and I was right!! They came in like a well oiled machine and fixed all the problems we were having from the previous bad job that was done. I used Ideal Remodeling for a ceiling repair after it was damaged by water. I appreciate them taking on a small job. Rodney did an excellent job fixing the ceiling! He spent a lot of time making sure that everything was covered prior to starting the job and cleaned up after. He is very personable and answered all of my questions. Mike (owner) was very responsive and easy to get a hold of throughout the entire process. I plan on having them install under cabinet lighting. I highly recommend Ideal Remodeing!!

Mike installed a new entry door and storm door in 2012. We have an old house and after 5 years the doors needed a bit of tweaking. Mike's response to our request was answered promptly.
