Our Cherry Hill, NJ project combined three things homeowners often tackle separately — new windows, a full exterior repaint, and a bathroom remodel — into one coordinated job. The result is a home that looks completely reimagined, without the cost or disruption of tearing everything down to the studs.

Tired Windows and Dated Aluminum Siding

This home is a classic older build with existing aluminum siding — the kind of house with great bones and real character, but a look that hadn’t been updated in decades. The original wood windows were worn, drafty, and showing their age.

It started with replacing over 40 windows!. Every window on the home was swapped out — a project of this size touches nearly every room and makes an immediate difference in comfort, energy efficiency, and curb appeal.
Then we had to repair some of the old brickwork. Before any paint went on, the crew repointed the home’s original brickwork, keeping the work subtle so the brick’s original character stayed intact. 

Last on the exterior list was a full repaint — one color, top to bottom. Rather than the traditional look of contrasting trim and siding, we painted the entire exterior a single, deep green tone (Sherwin Williams Rookwood Shutter Green SW2809). The siding, window trim, everything! It’s sometimes called a “color wash” look, and it gives the whole house a clean, modern, monochromatic feel while still respecting the original architecture.

The transformation speaks for itself. Same house, same solid aluminum siding underneath — but a completely different presence on the street. One of the clients put it best: they said people that visit sometimes drive right past the house now because they don’t recognize it!

A Full Bathroom Remodel, Built In

Alongside all the exterior work, we also took on a full gut renovation of the home’s upstairs bathroom.
The old shower had become a leak risk and the space felt dated. We stripped it down completely and rebuilt it from the ground up:

• Removed the old leaky shower and replaced it with a new shower pan, full tile surround, and frameless glass enclosure
• Relocated the radiator to open up the layout
• Installed a new, more modern vanity
• Laid new tile flooring throughout
• Added new drywall and insulation
• Ran new electrical and plumbing
• Installed a new exhaust fan and updated lighting
• Built in a bit of extra storage that the old layout didn’t have

This project is a good example of how a home doesn’t need to be gutted to the studs to feel brand new. New windows, careful brickwork, a fresh coat of paint in the right color, and a well-planned bathroom remodel can completely change how a house looks and lives — without the cost of a full exterior rebuild.
